Hi all, I live in the south west corner of Australia, and at the moment we are having some pretty huge bushfires sweeping through. So I figured it would be a great photo opportunity! :D
Took a few that hopefully you will enjoy, Thanks Patrick
... unfortunately the javascript isnt working for me to post them - is this just me? I have tried on 3 computers and 2 browsers and they are all the same... so I will just provide some links

there are few things scarier than getting caught in the path of a wildfire. Nice shots.

haha, what's a budding photographer supposed to do with such an event? ;) I don't know how to fight it, so I will just capture it :)

Wow, your Photo 3 has some eerie-eerie light from the fires!
And 4 shows wonderful colours - though I know, of course, that the fires as such are not "wonderful"!
But since you go out capturing them with your camera them instead of fighting them (which you say you can't, I wouldn't be able, either!), they better be "wonderful photos", eh?

Shouldn't this be in photojournalism or even snapshots?

But great shots! It is always fun to take pics of firefighters at work. Especially if you can get some flames. great stuff.
