Butterflies - Melbourne Zoo (Australia)

Hi guys,

I just thought I would get your opinions on a few shots of Butterflies that I took at Melbourne Zoo a couple of weeks ago.

This first image has just been cropped and sharpened a little and was taken using a Kodak Z700 (a friends camera)

The only editing this second shot has had is cropping

Did you use the on-camera flash on the second? You have those white reflections on the leaves from that, I guess.
Did you focus manually or did you have autofocus on?

The first COULD have the colours come out more, I guess, with a little levels or curves adjustment ...

Yep the on-camera flash was used on the second pic.

The auto focus was on.

I thought the colors of the first photo could do with a little work I'll play around with photoshop a bit and see what I can do
