Came across a butterfly garden while in a Florida state park last weekend. Most of them were Monarchs, but they were all so lovely! The scans here seem have lost the clarity of the actual images. :? But anyway, here they are!

Butterflies are cool. Nice to photo, if you can get them to stay still long enough.

cool shots terri, butterfly kisses. Yah the scan did take away a little from the sharpness of your subject, but still good work

Thanks, all! Yes, the key to shooting the little buggers seemed to be finding a place like this....with butterfly bushes and appropriate flowers to keep them so busy they don't mind your presence.

I do wish they'd scanned as sharp as the images are, that was a high res scan too.... go figure...
