The image does not look good turned the way it is.

The name of whatever website that is, is a huge distraction.

With animals and insects, it is important to have their heads and eyes in the shot.

The watermark is a killer.

The top half of the image looks like a purple flower in the foreground, post processed into a mighty blur, though I'm probably wrong. Either way, I'm not looking at the subject.

Crop in tight on the flutterby, lose the watermark and you've got a really nice image.

watermarks are our friends. :p

watermarks are our friends. :p

Except for when they cut through the main subject of a photo.

Was this shot through glass? For some reason it seems to me like there is a haze over the photo.

Watermarks should only really be used when the quality of the work is outstanding, and runs the risk of someone stealing it. It's a nice photo but i don't think someone would steal it.

Just my opinion.

(p.s loving your self portraits)

Yes watermarks are out friends, but there are better ways to add them than right through the center of the image. If someone wants your image bad enough, watermark or not they will get it. YOu would be better to make the mark off the main subject and more visible so that is is not confused with part of the image.

I agree that the blur at the top is somewhat distracting.
