well for my new camera im leaning towards the nikon D90 i just want to go to B and H probably next week and try it out hopefully.
i was just looking and JR.com has the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G DSLR Lens for $186 shipped which is a good price. I was originally just going to get a nifty fifty. is it smart to buy this lens before i might be buying a body? i mean the deal expires on the 10th of june. though what if i go to the store and try out the d90 and hate it?? :(

i dont think you'll hate it. but if you just stick with nikon, you can use that lens for any body. even if you decide to go down to a d3000, the 35 will AF because of its internal motor.

Why would I go down. Also. Is the 35mm better for headshots and low light concerts?

There was a guy that posted saying that he bought a lens ahead of time and now he doesn't want that Nikon anymore and now he wants a Canon. If you can I say you go buy the camera first and then you buy your lens.
