    I don't post many pictures on here, but seen as though I've been mucking around with my new camera, I'd share some with y'all.

    Well here's my first ever macro shot, I was a bit bummed the face came out blurred and the eyes were red (I have no idea what colour fly's eyes are) but anywho, I managed to take a few shots of him (or her) on a spider plant hanging in my kitchen. So here it be:

    If anyone has any idea's on different angles to shoot to get the face in focus, that'd be super! or just critisim in general, I can take it. :wink:

    Yeah you missed the focus, it's hard to get it right shooting macro because the DOF is so narrow.

    And I'm pretty sure some flies have red eyes, also.

    Red eyes is wildtype in Drosophila...White eye color is mutant...You study this if you do Genetics (Im a bio major lol)

    Nice try though keep at it your bound to get a few good ones :)
