First shot is out of the camera and no corrections. Second shot is the final product. I'm looking for some advice or examples on how to further improve from the base shot.
Two things right off the bat, shot was taken in the shade while on daylight WB (hence the blue) and was underexposed because I metered off the sky rather than off the water and a CPL would've helped. Basically I know why the shot wasn't as good as it could've been out of the camera. Corrections were: corrected the WB, fixed the exposure, tweaked the contrast levels, shadows, and highlights. Also desaturated the blues in order to get the water to look more white.
1.

EXIF Data:
Flash Used: No
Focal Length: 28.0mm
Exposure Time: 0.0020 s (1/500)
Aperture: f/11.0
ISO Equiv.: 500
Whitebalance: Manual
Metering Mode: center weight
Exposure: aperture priority (semi-auto)
