Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I was trying new stuff my my camera last night, I was using Manual focus (Which I dont normally do cause I find it tricky - Haha) but i think it worked for these photos, i tried with auto focus first and they came out super crap.
I have edited the photos a bit, i brightened them up and adjusted the contrast. Also made them either black and white, or Sepia too.
just wanting to see what all you professional people think! whats i can change or edit etc too :D

I couldnt get any closer to the pages of the book with the lens i have either, but I dont think they came out too badly.

Any comments and advice muchly appreciated :D :D :D

i agree. nicely done. the selective focus suits the nature of novels and stories ..poetic.

EDIT: i like the 1st and the last pictures. a good curve/shape and the frame filled with text.

Thanks! i admit i didnt even know HOW to manual focus my camera so i stood clear of that reigon for a while! but then I decided to actually read my Instruction Booklet - Amazng how useful those things are really! And yes I think i managed to achieve what i wanted, with a few lines in focus :D

i photoshopped and merged pictures together, i like it, but im not sure if you havent read the book weather you would get it, the main pisture is the artwork thats on the cover of the book (Six Sacred Stones by Matthew Reilly) and the bird is a character in the book "Horus" a peregrine falcon, which you can see in mentioned in the wrinting :D

you could try combining one of these with a photo of something related..or entirely random. create an artistic juxtaposition.

I love juxtapositions. I'll have to share some of my photos where juxtaposition was used.
