C&C First for 2009

Here is my first submission for 2009. All the best for the new year.

The first shot looks overexposed. The band of white behind the windmill is completely blown out. Too much sky for me. I would have zoomed in and maybe done a vertical shot of the windmill...don't really care about the trees.

The second shot looks underexposed and the horizon is really crooked. Did you PP the image to have that redish color cast? I like it better than the first image.

The second phot wasn't edited, deliberately underexposed to get the colours. It's the sun reflecting off the red water.
