Any constructive criticism is appreciated. Thanks!
I find that your first two shots would look better if they were shot either faster with flash to freeze the movement or slower so that the water looks glassy. When I shoot water I tend to shoot the same thing with a number of different shutter speeds and decide which effect works best.
The last shot would look nicer in a long exposure shot about an hour earlier so that you have warm side lighting.
Just my opinion.
Thanks! I appreciate your feedback. I'm just learning and using a P&S camera for the time being until I build up some skills. Thanks again,
Depending on the camera, you can still play with shutter speed. Most good P&S have a shutter speed priority mode that allows you to experiment without having to pull out a light meter.
Thanks again. I took these photos right after I got the camera. At the time I had not had a chance to really play with the different features. I'm going to spend a bit of time playing around with it to see what I can come up with. Take care,
Last two shots have the horizon off level.
the first two... ehh.
keep at it.
Try to keep the horizon out of the middle. They're all pretty dull and boring.
And what they said ^^^^
Gee thanks! LOL
