Too many barriers. As a viewer, I can't get in. Let me explain... I can't see her eyes. No connection there. I can barely see her face (but no emotion she may be feeling). No connection there. The overall image seems out of focus, so I can't see it clearly. Another barrier. It comes off more as a passing snapshot than a photograph.

^^yeap. It is missing focus and composure (not in that order)

The guy smoking the huge bong in the background is distracting. Crop is far too tight to have a distracting background.
