Cactus Flower Colors

    The prickly pear here have just about finished blooming. Although all the plants look alike (to me) there are two distinct colors and some hybrids. There is a clear lemon ice color and a fairly intense magenta. I also found some apparent hybrids which have either a peach colored blossom or yellow with red centers (both colors on the same plant). Here are some examples. All of these are within about 25 feet of each other.

    Wow thoes are some neat looking flowers. 3 and 4 are my favorite. nice work!

    love the fourth one - can just see that in a nice frame in some summer house......

    Nice shots! Cool how there were the different color flowers so close.
    I love that last one the best, very nice shot there :)

    Incredible flowers and neat shots although, apart from the second one, I'd like more DOF as usual.
