Ok I have no idea how technically challenging this might be but here is my suggestion...
This is NOT my work but an example

The front page could be your total car and then the pieces each month! Or add each piece together until you have the full car at the end of the year, so each picture gets one square bigger per month, using the appropriate piece to fit in for that months look...
You could take parts of the car and or crop out which ever is easiest until you make a full car, one you could spray a hose so it looks like it's raining, or wait for it to actually rain, maybe go get some old fall leaves from a forest floor to throw on the car.. Summer do you have a beach near by that you could use as a backdrop or a lake? The other seasons perhaps photoshop to add a layer of falling snow..
The end result would be one car in a collage each square representing a different season...
