A friend offered me a mamiya C 3. I know it is a TLR of 1962 I want to know if the machine is good? she is very good in appearance. using 120 film, good quality images at? he wants for it, $ 200 dollars. Do you think that pays off in buying this camera? Thank you.

$200 (assuming US dollars) for a complete, function C3 isn't a bad price, it's not a steal by any means, but it's very fair, if not a bit lower than average.

You need to make sure it is in good condition, and that the taking lens (the bottom lens) is not hazed up internally, or really scratched up badly,etc. Put the shutter on the B setting, and with the back open, click the shutter and hold the release in, and look through the lens from the inside of the camera with the lens held up against a light source: look for fungus or hazing inside the lens. ALso, see if the slow speeds are sticky or sluggish; and so on.
