I was reading about Canon and Nikon's wireless file transmitter (WFTE3A/WT-4a) and I had a question about an instant slideshow as I'm taking photographs.

So as I'm taking photos, the pics will be transfered via the transmitter to my macbook pro which is connected to a projector.

Is there software out there or does my Mac have one built in?

Oh and I know that WFTE3A/WT-4a is only compatible with certain bodies.

Thanks,
Alex

I have done this tethered, but never wireless, I can't see it being any different. If you use Nikon Capture 2 and set up the laptop to use the projector as a 2nd display, just put the output display on it and go full screen.
It worked well for a shooting demo I was working on.

The cameras should come with the appropriate software, if not...it should be available from Canon/Nikon.

I'm not sure if that software will automatically put the images into a slide show but you may be able to use a 'slide show' software that reads from a specific folder, and then have the files saved there as you shoot.

Isn't wireless going to be too slow - or are you not worried about speed?
