can anyone explain this please?

It just means it's a used camera that's been cleaned, tested & (probably) calibrated. In this case by Nikon UK

o yeah sorry:blushing:
ive found the difference now anyway, but i'm wondering what does the refurbished bit mean?

That's still the same link....Are you getting to this page from two different sites?

As for refurbished - It means the camera has been used, Before it was listed for sale it was sent out to the factory (or factory autherized repair shop) and restored to it's original factory condition.

Not necessarily just used, it may have been one that didn't mean a final QA check on the assembly line and was sent back for repairs before it left the factory, it may have been a test model, or even sent to a retailer and found defective on arrival. Regardless, it now meets all of the quality standards that Nikon sets, but, since it has been repaired, they have to tell you.
