Here are some shots I took while downtown (Memphis) over the weekend.

Tell me what you think!

City Hall. I thought the architecture was really cool.

Part of a sculpture I thought was interesting.

All the flags lined up.

You need to straighten most of these photos.
#2, look at all the way to the left. It would be nice if you make the concrete line and your frame line parallel. Also I think you can make the sky bluer a tad.
#4, the edge of the building parallel to your frame
#5 the line of the paver to be parallel with your frame

similar post, except only the last two are uneven. the first three are fine. you can't actually get the second one even without skewing everything forward slightly which would look worse.

and you won't get the sky bluer without under exposing the subject.

I think the sky works in 4 and 5; in 2, a circular polarizer may have helped. I say "may" because the effectiveness of a polarizer depends on your angle to the sun.

There is always photoshop to make the sky bluer ;).

I'd square crop 3 so the focal point is at the left side of the frame.

I actually like 2,3,4,5. They're cool angles. Maybe too cool for school.

3. DoF might be better more to the right, near where the wall curves in.
4. The sun sux.
5. Rotate 1 degree clockwise.
