Here are some pictures of Candy and her cousin Lola. If anyone has any tips on getting pictures of Black dogs feel free to comment, these have been photoshoped pretty good so you can actually see her and not a black blob.

Beautiful dogs and pretty good shots. The 1st doesn't really grab me I have to say. The DOF is a bit shallow, I'm not 100% convinced the eys are in focus and the direct flash has highlighted her face too much, you've got your work cut out with a dog this colour certainly.

2 and 3 I really like although the stuff laying around in the background is kinda distracting.

Nice shots though, I'll look forward to more.

Thank you. Yeah with these 2 it is pretty hard to get some real decent shots because they are both just puppies and the second I try and get down to their level to get a shot they bounce at me. But as you can tell from her nose in the first shot something went wrong, her nose isn't brown like that. With Candy I have started trying to use manual focus but it is still very difficult with her being black and I normally end up using the sharpen tool in photoshop a little more than I should to make up for it. Luckily outside her coat has a nice shine so I can use autofocus which is much easier with her little hyper self.
