Cannon EOS 550D vs. Pentax K-7

I am looking to purchase my second DSLR (first being the Sony A330) and I think I have narrowed it down to 2 (although the Pentax K-x is not completely out of the race). Anyone that can offer opinions on which selection I should make it would be greatly appreciated.

Why not stay with Sony? They have some nice offerings.

Gave away my camera and lenses, and I don't believe the A550 to be on par with the 550D or the K-7 (based on what I have read only).
