Will the 10D work in full auto stop down metering? I know I read about this somewhere before but don't remember where or the answer. The reason is, is that I am contemplating the pruchase of a full manul Zenitar 16mm EOS lense, but . . . This lense is FULL manual which would force stop down metering or possibly NO metering. Will the 10D even release the shutter in stop down? I can handle metering but I would obviously need the shutter to work. One of my friends has had good luck with a D70 version and for $100 or less it is appealing to me none-the-less.

So would it work? It's almost like the FD lense on digital debate all over again isn't it?
