Canon 30D Warranty Advice

Hi,

I just bought my dream camera a few days ago from best buy: the canon 30d!

The question is: is the warranty worth it or needed? It's 250$ canadian for 3 years and it covers the camera itself in terms of screen or buttons etc.

Some have told me that the warranty is not really needed coz the canon 30d is a solid camera and i should not worry about the parts breaking.

also: how do u turn on the lcd screen so that u can take live pictures with it? is this possible? right now, i can only take pics using the viewfinder. thanks a lot.

dslr's dont have live-view LCDs. ive read somewhere that someone make sone, but th 30d definitely does not. i wouldn't buy the warranty, but thats just me.
