Canon 500d first shot, please c&c

Have never own a point & shoot and this is my first camera.

Had done some reading in photography recently and now trying to put them in practice.

These are my best shots from yesterday.

Yeah, these are great for someone who's never made an exposure before. Good focus, generally good composition. The last one has some contrast issues... perhaps a candidate for HDR or a split gradient filter.

It was a tricky exposure situation. A graduated nd will definately helps (I haven't got one yet

Exif says you took this in auto mode. I take back 50% of my praise..

You have a good eye though and that's the hard part (for me anyway). Now learn how to use the camera to its full potential.
