I have come across two rumored specs for the 5D Mark IV:

1) Canon 5D Mark IV specs:
  • 18mp Full Frame CMOS
  • ISO 100-204,800
  • 61 AF Points (all crosstype)
  • 12fps
  • Dual CFast
  • 4K Video Capture
2) 5D Mark IV rumored specs:
  • 24MP full frame sensor
  • High ISO features, ISO 100-51,200, extended to ISO 50, ISO 102,400, ISO 204,800
  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF III
  • New and more advanced AF system
  • 4k video recording with new video features
  • Anti-flickr technology (seen first on the 7D Mark II)
  • Improved continuous shooting speed
  • To be announced in August, 2015
If these are somewhat close to the actual specs, are any of the 5D Mark III owners interested in upgrading? Or even someone who doesn't own a Mark III, does the Mark IV spark your interest?

I'm not a mark III owner but I am very interested in the specs for the mark IV.

I am wanting to go full frame so I am waiting on this camera. If it comes out at 24mp, 61 AF points and 12fps, at about $3,000 - $3,500, then I am getting me one.

I'd be shocked if the MP count dropped from the current model.

But like I said in the other 10 threads, just take the current specs and add a reasonable increase to each category.

Rumor I looks more like a successor of the 1D X to me.
