Canon 60d release date? Anyone know

I'm really wanting to see and hold the 60d before deciding on my next camera. I have the 40d now and love it. I use a wheelchair or scooter when I shoot. So I am anxious about the flip out monitor. Can you go to live mode and see it when shooting? This way I could be able to shoot at more angles and over guardrails . Often I have to hold it above my head and hope and click away.

I heard it would be the end of this month around the 22nd so you might not have long to wait.

Not sure if that is right though cant always believe the rumors.
