Hi!, im new here!, and i was wondering if you can help me with the decision to buy this camera:

It's a fine camera, and since it's several models old it should be a bargain. In the US they are going for less than $400 for the body.

Depends on your budget and what you hope to get out of the camera.

The people I know who have/had one are/were happy with it, if that’s any help.

I have the Xt, which was my first DSLR, and it has served me very well.

I would say it is a great starter camera, and for the prices they are selling for now you can upgrade easily as you advance your skills.
