Canon EF-S 18-55mm

Hi!


i whant to know what the differenc is between EF-S 18-55 USM and the regular EF-S 18-55mm lens? , and what lens is the better one?

USM means UltraSonic Motor (I think?)...

It's supposed to focus faster & more quietly...

The USM would obviously be the better lens. But whether or not you need it depends on what sort of photography you do.
