Canon EOS 1D Mark III

Hi,

recieved my mark 3 on Monday, as I was playing around with it I noticed that I could only shoot at 10fps for 14 pictures. I've gone into custom functions and tried to increase the number but when I apply and enable it, I can still only shoot 14 frames before it cuts out.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

The specs say that you should be able to get 110 JPEG or 30 RAW shots before it starts to slow down.

What type/speed of memory card are you using?

What happens when you slow the frame rate down? Set it to 5 fps, and see what happens.

I have heard of in camera noise reduction slowing things down in other cameras.

What setting did you have the NR on?

Just on, there is no strength setting I don't think

Sweet, glad I could help. Plus I also think that noise reduction is better done in post, rather than in camera anyway.
