Canon lens deciphering

I almost exclusively use L glass with my Canons, but I do not consider that luxury. It would be luxury if I had leather pouches with gold and silver ornaments for them, though.

Luxury is just the wrong term for tools (which lenses are).

OK, with you saying you get what you pay for it sounded like stating an opinion

Does Canon really say luxury? They never used that term when talking to me ... and I never saw it written either. But then again I might not have looked in the right places

I did read it in a Canon workbook. I guess it's how they describe it.

Tools can be luxurious. And vice versa. Just my $.02
