Canon PB-E1/2 ?

I was looking at an auction on ebay and found a PB-E1 forsale...
it says it's for an EOS-3 and it's a LOT cheaper than the PB-E2.
What is the difference in these two models???

can anyone please find ANYTHING about the difference in the two models of the PB-E1 and the PB-E2.
I've searched all over the web and I can't figure out what difference there is in the two models...

I have the PB-E1 on my EOS 1v. Basically a battery pack with shutter button. I've seen the PB-E2 up close and the most obvious difference is the additional buttons to replicate the wheel and exposure lock buttons.
