Canon Speedlite Automatic flash strobe model 155A

i've tried to find as much information as i can on this flash...however, i'm still not sure if this can 'strobe' it's flash....

...and i'm not so sure if this will work for a Canon AE-1, even though i'm pretty sure it was made shorty after the Canon AE-1's release in 1976...

I think that flash will work fine with that camera...but there are very few flash units that can 'strobe'...and that is not one of them.

Even the units that can 'strobe'...I'm not sure that they will do what you may be thinking.
