I prefer the first one. I would probably like the second one better if it had more contrast.

The only thing that bothers me is the way you have the lighthouse framed in the first shot. Also the horizon is not level.

The second one I like the framing better, and the horizon is level.

I think you've overdone it a bit in the post-processing. At least with the black and white, that much PP is not necessary to achieve that sort of effect. As for the color one, I understand where you're going, but the clouds should at least look like clouds.

Clouds are very contrasty under bright sunlight, they have burned out edges.

Yes, but cloning can be seen in the clouds of the colour version, which makes Max correct in his assessment.
