I visited chester zoo over the weekend and i can tell you half of the animals are so illusive they are either inside behind scratched glass with kids sticky handprints all over them or hidden outside in the long grass and bush, i had to wait all day for these shots, worth it or not? :)

Your shots turned out fine (aside from the obvious blurring done in photoshop) and the merekat is priceless. :lmao:

It might just be me but the contrast doesn't look righ in the 2nd one! (also needs a tighter selection on the rhino to apply the background blur!)

I really like the monkey too! Just hoping he's not doing what the bears do in the woods!

Was I speaking about zoo photos only just? In my reply to another post? I was! :)

I really like that first one. Such expression. They always look so human, don't they? In my language, these animals are even called "Little Earthman".

Zoo shots are not as easy as some may think. I think you did a great job with these. I enjoyed the series. Well done!
