I like the shot a lot but the eyes seem to not be natural. Other than that, it's a fine shot.

Normally not a good idea to "Flash", an orangutan, they are very strong, and some parks/zoos don't permit flash photography.

Over all, its great, I like it!

Thanks for the comments. It is a Mandrill. They are suppose to be one of the meanest animals in the jungle.

Very nice Joe - definitely an emotional image. It looks like you used a ring flash on this (based on the eyes). To me the flash reflection in the eyes are a slight distraction to the image.

I love this shot.. I would try to fix the eyes.. But the fence in as the main focus really puts a statement to the photo.. Its a Mandrill... Rafiki from the Lion King " Asante Sana.... Squashed Banana " lol
