Casio Exilim?

Slap me if I posted this in the wrong spot, but have any of you ever used a Casio Exilim and come out with clear, crisp, photography? I'm trying to use it for photography, but I'm ripping my hair out just to get it to focus. Am I doing something wrong, or should I just ditch the camera and buy a "real" photography camera?

*Most* issues like this usually come down to user error (or ignorance of the problem).

If you can post some examples, along with the shot information (shutter speed, aperture etc) then we can probably help you diagnose the problem.
