Catchlight Vs. Specular highlighting

    I get catchlights in my subjects eyes in the studio. Sometimes they work great. Other times I am not so sure. Specular highlights are the bane of my existence as a photographer. In the studio I add scrims or diffusion to get them right. I try to combat them in the field as well. Alltough that is generally a bit harder.

    well... thanks for your response.. haha. I was actually just trying to figure out the difference between the two terms but already sorted that out, but thanks for the reply, it kind of added to my knowledge about them.
