Photos for some models that showed up at a Strobist meet we had in Frederick, Md this afternoon. What's everyone think?

Lighting info and links to the larger sizes can be found by clicking the photos. They go to my Flickr page.

I find the flash in the first on very distracting.

I agree with the flash in #1, takes my complete attention.

#2 is beautiful lighting and a great shot. I was admiring that photo in the strobist pool yesterday (or possibly early this morning). Didn't know it was yours though

I agree. The flash is way too distracting in the first one, and the light that is on the model is unflattering.

The 2nd is much better, great light in this one. The only issue that I see, is that by her putting her weight onto her left leg and posing in that position, it emphasizes the girth/size of her leg, which isn't usually flattering.

I agree totally with Mike. A small part of the problem is that she has awesome, beautiful, muscular legs but that's not really what mini-skirts are for. They're for scary stick people =)

I personally think she has gorgeous legs!
But yes, #2 is definitely a nice shot.
