I was wondering if I can get any Nikon lens under 18mm for under $200.
Help appreciated, Paul
Probably not what you are looking for...
[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Angle-Converter-WC-E24-Coolpix/dp/B00004U8LP]Amazon.com: Nikon Wide Angle Converter Lens, WC-E24, for Nikon Coolpix 4500, 4300, 995, 990, 950, 900, 900s, 885, 880, 800, 775, 700, (#25100, WCE24): Camera & Photo[/ame]
Not quite under 18mm BUT the Tokina "plastic wonder" 19-35mm zoom was under $200 brand new. It is a good lens for the $$ and probably obtainable used as it is discontinued.
In my reviews, the Tokina 12-24 tested out pretty good.
You might be able to pick one up used for around $300
I have a KIT lens 18-105mm so i don't need the 19mm
wow, Ken, that's you?
Uhmm.. yeah right. BTW, my name is Ansel Adams and I am typing this from my grave enabled internet laptop "down under".
Yeah, and I'm David Hasselhoff. I'm from the Internet.
In all seriousness, a proper wide angle lens goes for about $500 brand new.
You most likely won't be able to find a wide angle lens for $200 or even $300. I think the cheapest come around $400 (if you're lucky).
BTW I'm Victor Hasselblad
I'm Dali! :thumbup: Ok now we are really OT. -Shea
Is $11.00 cheap enough????
I am JESUS! Christ, now I am going to get smited! ;-)
If you sell your current lens, you can upgrade to the 16-85, which has better performance, and a more useful zoom range.
I saw a Sigma 10-20 for Nikon in EX+ condition on keh.com the other day for 380 plus shipping.:coffee:
