So I got a 55-250mm IS, for Christmas, and have been dying to use it. Only Vancouver in the winter, means rain rain and more rain :er: So it finally got partly sunny, but other then it poking his head out once in a while, it didn't come out much. But I'm way too stubborn, and anxious to wait. So I just made due. I'm still playing with camera settings, doing a trial and error approach to learning. This photo is fully zoomed with F/9, shutter-1/100, ISO-400 the camera is a rebel XS. I heard the sweet spot for this lens is F/8 So I was going slightly up or down from that, this one just happened to be f/9. I cropped out a bit more then half the original.
