They were running around in my back yard today and I just had to take some pictures.

For some reason that last one made me laugh. He/She looks pretty cozy in that shot.

Apart from the fact that you captured them perfectly, I am surprised at the kind of back yard you're having, with so many rocks! These photos look more like these chipmunks were in a zoo... do you live so close to the mountains?

The second photo is so nice, I could start raving about it: facial expression, focus, and above all the feeling of being very near to the animal... very nice.

Hehe no it was on a retaining wall in my back yard.

Second one is my fav. Portrays a human quality in the chipmunk. Nice cozy spot to relax and feel safe.
