Christmas Angel

I photographed my friend's 8 month old daughter in her Christmas dresses, Christmas portraits for her. And I just remembered I was a member here, so I thought I'd share. My setup was fairly simple. A black cloth for a backdrop and two lamps each with a soft white 60-watt bulb on each side of her but kind of at an angle. I shot all in RAW, it was my first time doing that for more than one or two shots. I didn't use a tripod because I didn't have a whole lot of room to work, but I did okay, just in some she moved. I also used my Tamron 28-80mm lens, really the only lens I have at the moment.

i dont really know the first thing about portraits but i do like the second one. i think its cute and i think her expression is better in the second.

She was giving me all kinds of good facial expressions. She was cranky in some, but happy in most.
