Hello! If anyone can spot what I've done wrong I'd be much obliged :
I'm scanning photo prints for my web site. To get a fairly good res original copy I scanned them as 600 dpi using my flatbed scanner. They look oK viewed in MS Office Picture managed and seem ok when I open them in Fireworks. However, when I open them in a web page or insert them into my Dreamweaver page they get really chunky pixels!
What could I have done? They're definitely 600dpi and look more like 50 dpi. Can I rescue them? Or if I scan them all again (sob) how could I prevent my pixel problem.
It all worked out fine last time I scanned pics, so I can't work out what I might have done wrong I'm clearly having a non-IT day!
