cimko lens

Hi ive had a canon A-1 that a friend gave me about a year ago and its just been sitting in storage. It came with 3 CIMKO lenses and one that says Kalimar 135mm. Well Ive never done film photography so i really have no clue about any of this stuff. But the 135mm lens looks brand new and i Dont think its even been used before but when you pick it up and move it a little it makes kinda a rattling noise. Almost like there is dirt or little rocks in there? I really dont have a clue on what else it could be or if its normal. Anyone have any ideas......do you think it is dirt and stuff? Also when you put it on the camera everything seems fine. You can focus it nice and clear. I would really appreciate any ideas - thank you Jenn
