    I tried to capture as much of the downtown area as I could and keep the clouds in the picture. My friend showed me this awesome view of the city, probably the highest point in the city. I will definitely make a return trip when i got to visit again. This is downtown Birmingham

    Nice picture. I think I would have liked this in color. And your horizon could have been risen to the 1/3 line on the bottom so you follow the RoT.

    the reason the horizon is so low is because there was a row of trees right below the bottom edge of my frame. this was the only way i could get wide enough and capture buildings and clouds.

    I'll get a color one up soon
