This was shot December 2006 in Havana,
Cuba. What do you think?

not sure if i am to rate the car or the image here ;)

i think this sort of rating is very subjective, since everyone's personal scale has some personal offset and we have no reference point here.

I think it is too tightly cropped and hence a lot of mood of the scene probably got lost. It actually for some reason it looks as cropped afterwards from a much larger image.

if you want the car to be isolated though, for that purpose the light is just not good enough and arrangement too random.

slight cropping can be a tool to improve composition, but it almost always fails to isolate a subject from a scene. This is best done with the truly photographic tools of the business (point of view/perspective, larger aperture, composition, ...)
right when you take the shot.

I think Alex_B hit the nail on the head on this one....

Thanks for the advice. I shot this in a second
leaning from the window of taxi in Havana.

Back home I thouht that the car and angle of the
shot are cool. Also I like the elbow out of the window.

Pic sure is cropped tighty, the backgound just isn't
very inspiring.
