Closeup/macro attempt

Hi All

Here is my attempt at some pretend macro. The pic is of a Gerbra Daisy, and I took it with a closeup filter on my lense.

I would love to hear your thoughts and feed back on this one, as I am thining of doing more of these types of shots and also may spring for a set of extension tubes.

Nice, what did you change?

I just did auto levels in photoshop then went back into levels and tweaked the middle slider a bit to remove some grey from the image.

I like the colours, but after looking at the flower again your change doesn't quite represent the actual colour of it. Your version is a little too red.

It might not be true to color, but the contrast in hobosyke's first one really makes the details pop. What if you adjusted levels for contrast and hue/saturation to adjust the slider for the red hue?
