Cloudy Sky - which one?

    Which one do you like, and why? :)
    Any tips on this one? I really didn't know how to shoot it, I just let the camera do its' thing and I like the way it came out.

    I like #2 better. For me it has more interest with the water included.

    I like #2 solely because that area of black clouds at the top is gone.

    Hm, I would've said #1 just because of the black area.. hm. :)

    I would also give the nod to the second one. The top one is okay, but the sun is nothing more than a hot spot in the middle of the image - it doesn't lead the eye anywhere, even though I do like the black clouds in it. But in the second one, the hot spot of the sun directs the eye to that fabulous light on the water, and gives the image more meaning and interest. It's really very beautiful. Nice job! :D

    #2 is better, i like the light coming down through the clouds as well.

    Whats happened to the horizon though? It looks like it bends on the left hand side? Or is it just my eyes??? :?

    Water does it for me...tends to sit the clouds down.

    deffinetly the second one. with that little piece of water it makes the feeling of the huge sky and the small us.
