I took this on the Kennebunkport coast this past summer.
Do the two reeds on the right break up the human form too much, or is it better to have them that way?
Any help would be appreciated.
 
You should dodge the plants at the bottom to bring up the detail in them because as is, they are hardly noticeable and my eye goes straight to the top left-ish area becuase it's so much brighter.
 
Somehow this photo has two only very mildly defined focus points: one is the girl (and she clearly draws the attention, but then she does not look and turns her back towards us), the other are the flowers - as you are saying in the title to your photo. You liked those and wanted THEM to be a major element to your photo, but I don't think THAT really worked here. They are too dark, take up too little space in the entire frame, and get fierce competition - not by the weeds, no, but - buy the figure and the much brighter sky.
