Color cast problem with my nikon D70s

Hello Friends,

I am using nikon D70s, when i take snaps, 80% of times the actual colors are not picked by camera the snaps look like they are underexposed or blackish.. is there anything wrong with my camera body?

can this be solved by getting my camera cleaned?

It's a little hard to say without knowing more of the circumstance; can you describe the settings (Shooting mode, shutter spd, apeture, WB, and ISO) as well as the circumstances (time of day, location, aspect relative to the sun). Please post an example or two as well.

With my old D70, it would occasionally get cranky in Manual mode and read as many as four stops off, resulting in very under-exposed pictures, oddly, Program mode was never affected. Usually turning it off and on a couple of times cleared this; I wonder if your is similar?
