Color management problem

Hey lately I have been having a color management problem with my photos. What I mean by that is that they look normal when I look at the thumbnails in the folders but when I open them up the colors are all bland and screwy. This happens no matter what program I open them in. In photoshop I have to ignore the color profile of the picture in order to view it correctly. This happens on all pictures. Any Idea how to fix it?

Ok I fixed it for photoshop but its still wrong in windows photo gallery.
