Normally I'm a b&w fan, but in this case I like the color version better. A bit more contrast as with the b&w version may help the color version a little. Nice shot btw.

I also prefer the colored version than in b&w. The b&w needs more contrast...

It's color for me. I find most B&W's to be rather ho-hum and don't usually display camera quality nor the photographer's ability. IMHO.

Colour is much better in this situation.

Midnitejam: Refering to your post.

B&W is an amazing feature of photography early on in the years thats all we had. Black and white photography really brings out a photograph in some cases.

Many of my photographs are B&W because i love it!
Adding a lil grain and turning a photo B&W does not by no means reduce the photographers ability.

Take me for example. I use a small digi cam thats all i got a, 3.1 mega pix crap camera it's my sisters, but i use photoshop to make the photograph come out the way it should have when i took the photograph.

See this for instance: http://www.jhlpictures.fpic.co.uk/p25918482.html

I took this with the intention of making it B&W and adding some grain effect to produce the final picture. I didn't take this on the off chance and find it days later and go oh i'll make this amazing.

Some of them are edited, take this for example this for example: http://www.jhlpictures.fpic.co.uk/p24661663.html

No edit has been done!

Photos can be taken in B&W it gives it an intresting feel.

Cheers
James
